Time! That is the one irreplaceable commodity more precious than anything bought, sold, given or received. Time is also one of the greatest stumbling blocks in a parents experience as the time flies by seeing babies turn into teens in what seems like a blink of an eye. The closeness of our kids, for many parents, has been usurped by schools, programs and the many activities children both love and deserve to experience however how many of us would write our own eulogy stating that we ‘wished we had spent more time at the office’. NOT! Children are our greatest teachers, greatest gifts and challenges all rolled into one incredible package of unconditional love. Seems to me that parenting is one of the highest forms of spiritual practice involving every ounce of patience, perseverance, humility, open-heartedness and love. Thank Goodness!!!!!!!!!! Where would we be if not for the love of our children when the adult world gets to nasty or confusing. When their innocence and playfulness pulls us out of a slump, those moments are irreplaceable and absolutely gifted for the growth of our hearts.
One of my favorite experiences in Yoga RejuVacations is the inclusion of families with children. No matter the age, we can come together in a nurturing, inclusive and natural environment to play, support and deepen with each other. I have seen miraculous openings occur for adults and children alike as the time together gently carves away the sharp edges of “busy-ness” giving way to true relating and connection. When time slips into its natural flow without rushing to and from events releasing each of us into the precious present moment awareness. All ancient teachings remind us that the greatest gift of all is being in the present moment; I guess that’s why it’s called the ‘present’.
Sometimes adults feel even a little shy or reserved to have others bear witness to their family dynamics, relationship issues or parenting challenges however with the inclusion of daily yoga classes for adults and for kids, conscious and healthy foods, supportive play time and the deep kiss of natures purity; there is always a melting of the shame or blame that weighs some parents down. Open, kind and loving hearts form this community of mutual inclusion for all the kids and adults leaving each family permanently transformed by the experience. We even bring in the best massage therapists in the area to heal our tired bodies and souls.
Our location of choice is The Tipi Camp near Nelson, BC and we return every year in the middle of the summer. We live, sleep and play in a rustic yet comfortable setting immersed in a space where no electronic or artificial distractions are present. This very popular RejuVacation fills very quickly with families returning each year to witness each other in loving support and to see our kids grow up to be exemplary citizens of the planet.

Wed. July 29.09 Arrival day between 12 and 3 pm. Includes welcoming dinner, opening circle and orientation and yoga class for transition to the space and experience at hand.
Thurs. to Sunday Full days of retreat including two yoga classes daily 2 meals and snacks, time for play, recreation, massage etc.
Monday August 2nd Departure day includes morning yoga class, brunch and closing circle. Departures from 12-3 pm.
Option A: 5 days total (7/29-8/2) Price per adult $679 + gst. Price per child ages 3-12 $339 + gst. Price per child under 3 -free.
Option B: 3 days total. Arrival (7/31-8/2) Price per adult $489 + gst. Price per child ages 3-12 $ 245.50 Price per child under 3- free.
